Scheduled Volunteer  Opportunities!

During the year, our Volunteerism Committee organizes volunteer opportunities with many of the our grantees, typically where groups of 4-12 (depending on the need) of our Members volunteer for several hours to help with specific needs. We let our Members know of those opportunities by email as they occur.

In addition, several organizations have already scheduled some group times for volunteers:

 Food Connection

• Opportunity: 4-6 volunteers are needed to help pack meals.
• When: The 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 11AM - 1:00 PM.
• Where: St. George Episcopal Church at 1 School Road, Asheville.

*Food Connection uses a new sign up system known as Bloomerang. WCMA shifts are reserved for our group.

Each person will need to sign up for an account and go through the registration process.

During signup, please designate that you are WCMA in the "Qualifications" section. That will allow you to register for the WCMA specific shifts.
