Our Committees

We operate through a number of volunteer committees: 

  • Grant Review Committee

    Our Grants Review Committee conducts an in-depth review of applications from nonprofits and their WCMA Member sponsor, ranking them based on our grant guidelines, Member funding priorities and available funds, and recommends grants for approval by our Board of Directors.  

  • Membership Committee

    Our Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining and growing our Membership by educating new home and property owners about WCMA and reaching out to existing Members to encourage renewals.

  • Volunteerism Committee

    Our Volunteerism Committee works with our grantee nonprofits to arrange Member volunteer opportunities.

  • Communications Committee

    Our Communications Committee handles communications to our Members and maintains our website and our social media presence (Facebook and Instagram).

  • Events Committee

    Our Events Committee is responsible for organizing social events for our Members to build a sense of community and to expose our Members to our local communities. To maximize our charitable giving, we do not use donations or dues to fund Member events.

  • Celebration of Giving Committee

    Our Celebration of Giving Committee is responsible for managing our annual Celebration of Giving events.
